پھر جب چاند کو چڑھتے دیکھا تو کہا یہ تمہارا رب ہے پھر جب وہ ڈوب گیا تو کہا کہ اگر میرا رب میری رہنمائی نہ کرے تو میں گمراہ لوگوں میں سے ہو جاؤں گا (77) اس نے سورج کو دیکھا کہ یہ میرا سب سے بڑا رب ہے، پھر جب وہ غروب ہوا تو اس نے کہا: اے میری قوم جس چیز کو تم اس کے ساتھ شریک کرتے ہو، میں اس سے آزاد ہوں۔ میں نے ہدایت اور ہدایت کی ہے یہ اسی کی ہے جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو قائم کیا ہے اور میں مشرکوں میں سے نہیں ہوں۔

اور جو یہودی ہیں ہم نے ان پر ایک ہی قسم کی ہر چیز حرام کر دی ہے اور گائے اور بھیڑ بکریوں کی چربی ان پر حرام کر دی ہے سوائے بھیڑ کے بچے کے۔ ان کی پیٹھ، یا کناروں، یا ہڈی کے ساتھ ملا ہوا ہے، یہ ان کی سرکشی کا بدلہ ہے 32 اور بیشک ہم سچے ہیں۔
