اس کتاب کے لیے جو آپ پر نازل ہوئی ہے تاکہ اندھیروں کے لوگوں کو نور کی طرف لے جا ئے ۞ ۞ اور وہ جو زمین میں ہے (2) ناحق عذاب سے منکر ہو جاؤ (2) خدا کی راہ سے دور رہو اور وہ ٹیڑھی تلاش کرتے ہیں تمہاری گمراہی بہت دور ہے۔

’’الر‘‘، یہ ایک کتاب ہے جو ہم نے تمہاری طرف نازل کی ہے تاکہ تم لوگوں کو ان کے رب کے حکم سے اندھیروں سے اجالے کی طرف،اس (اللہ ) کے راستے کی طرف نکالو جو عزت والا ،سب خوبیوں والا ہے۔
یہ حروفِ مُقَطَّعات میں سے ایک حرف ہے،اس کی مراد اللّٰہ تعالیٰ ہی بہتر جانتا ہے
