الٓرٰ- كِتٰبٌ اُحْكِمَتْ اٰیٰتُهٗ ثُمَّ فُصِّلَتْ مِنْ لَّدُنْ حَكِیْمٍ خَبِیْرٍ(1) اَلَّا تَعْبُدُوْۤا اِلَّا اللّٰهَؕ-اِنَّنِیْ لَكُمْ مِّنْهُ نَذِیْرٌ وَّ بَشِیْرٌ(2) وَّ اَنِ اسْتَغْفِرُوْا رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوْبُوْۤا اِلَیْهِ یُمَتِّعْكُمْ مَّتَاعًا حَسَنًا اِلٰۤى اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى وَّ یُؤْتِ كُلَّ ذِیْ فَضْلٍ فَضْلَهٗؕ-وَ اِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَاِنِّیْۤ اَخَافُ عَلَیْكُمْ عَذَابَ یَوْمٍ كَبِیْرٍ(3) اِلَى اللّٰهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْۚ-وَ هُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیْرٌ(4) اَلَاۤ اِنَّهُمْ یَثْنُوْنَ صُدُوْرَهُمْ لِیَسْتَخْفُوْا مِنْهُؕ-اَلَا حِیْنَ یَسْتَغْشُوْنَ ثِیَابَهُمْۙ-یَعْلَمُ مَا یُسِرُّوْنَ وَ مَا یُعْلِنُوْنَۚ-اِنَّهٗ عَلِیْمٌۢ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُوْرِ
اللہ وہ کتاب ہے جس کی آیات کا فیصلہ کیا جاتا ہے اور پھر حکمت والے اور باخبر کی طرف سے تفصیل کے ساتھ بیان کیا جاتا ہے (1) اللہ کے سوا کسی کی عبادت نہ کرنا جو کارساز اور بشارت دینے والا ہے (2) اور اگر تم اپنے رب سے معافی مانگو۔ پھر اس کی طرف توبہ کرو، وہ تمہیں ایک مقررہ وقت تک اچھا رزق دے گا اور ہر لذت کو اپنی نیکی کا بدلہ دے گا اور اگر تم منہ موڑو گے تو مجھے تمہارے لیے ایک بڑے دن کے عذاب کا اندیشہ ہے۔ اللہ ہی کی طرف تمہارا لوٹنا ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے (4) سوائے اس کے کہ وہ اس سے چھپانے کے لیے اپنے سینوں کو جھکا لیں، سوائے اس کے کہ وہ اپنے کپڑوں سے ڈھانپ لیں، وہ جانتا ہے جو کچھ وہ چھپاتے ہیں اور جو ظاہر کرتے ہیں سینوں کے جوہر سے واقف ہے۔
